With a QuickBooks Online merchant account you can process and authorize credit card transactions directly from QuickBooks Online. Payment information is automatically updated in QuickBooks Online so you never have to enter data twice.

It's Simple to Use
Fill out a sales receipt, receive a payment, or add a deposit to an invoice as you usually do, and then include the customer's credit card information as well. When you save the transaction, the credit card is processed, and you get immediate feedback on whether it is approved.

You can sign up for QuickBooks Online merchant account after you've set up your QuickBooks Online accounting subscription.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Merchant Service Card Reader does not currently work with QuickBooks Online. Use of the card reader requires QuickBooks desktop software, 2002 or higher.
